City of the Dead in Northern Ossetia, Russia

Local legends have it that in the 18th century, a plague swept through Ossetia. The clans built quarantine houses for sick family members, who were provided with food, but not freedom to move about, until death claimed their lives. A slow and painful way to go, indeed.

Where Does Money Come From?

"Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the Field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere -- so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive -- that they better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it."
-Woodrow Wilson

Where does money come from?

Why doesn't your government own it's own money?

Why does your government borrow all it's money from private banks at interest?

What is "fractional reserve banking?"

Our money system is a big fucking ponzi scheme, based on debt. IOUs. And IOUs taken out against IOUs.

This is how the housing market collapsed, massive numbers of people unable (or too fucking smart) to continue paying the debt on houses that ad less value than the debt itself.

If you use money and carry any kind of debt, you need to watch this video.

Paul Grignon's 47-minute animated presentation of "Money as Debt" tells in very simple and effective graphic terms what money is and how it is being created. It is an entertaining way to get the message out. The Cowichan Citizens Coalition and its "Duncan Initiative" received high praise from those who previewed it. I recommend it as a painless but hard-hitting educational tool and encourage the widest distribution and use by all groups concerned with the present unsustainable monetary system in Canada and the United States.

Stalin loolalike gets freebies galore!

Jamil Ziyadaliev, a Stalin impersonator in Georgia, with his wife, Fakizar. He says his resemblance to the most famous Georgian gets him many free meals

Even after war, many Georgians revere Stalin

He is a frequent hired guest at weddings, where he dances to Soviet Katyusha music from World War II.

The benefits of looking eerily like the former dictator, he boasts, include free meals, free car repairs — and free passage through Russian checkpoints.

"Looking like Stalin is like having a visa in Georgia," said Ziyadaliev, a Muslim originally from Azerbaijan, who drove a taxi, peddled vegetables and worked as an accountant before deciding on a career as a modern incarnation of the brutal, diabolically brilliant Soviet tyrant.

extract images and video from flash files

Flash animation is very popular all over the Internet. The reason is quite
simple and obvious: flexibility. You can embed anything into a flash file, and
it will be played on any computer that supports this format. Whole websites are
built with flash. Flash-player plug-ins exist for all common browsers and
operating systems.

A typical flash file usually contains several elements. Among them are
pictures, sounds, videos. If you want to extract some of those particular
elements, you may find Flash Decompiler Trillix quite useful.

Step 2: Start the program and open your flash file.

Add your flash file
